"La Raíz" was a rock, ska and hip hop band. They did this album "Very careful in terms of arrangements and melodies, this time deeper. With a very strong poetic charge, it mixes romanticism and protest in a very subtle way". They give voice to many themes and people forgotten, from the intro to the last song.
I've maid this restyling from the album "Entre poetas y presos", focused on the concept from the carnation flower. The ideas (like freedom) can't be murdered, on the same way, if you cut a flower a lot of them will grow up from it remains. I created this metaphor inspired on the song "Between poets and prisoners".
I wanted to visualize how many persons are missing from that war on the cd wrapper, Spain is the second country in number of missing persons (I've been able to write the 2.36% of persons).
This packaging is made of paperboard and paper (plastic free) in connection with the values inside the band, the letters and the album. The structural packaging is a regular hexagon tessellate, with a lot of them you can make a beehive (it's one of the most efficient ways to stack, so important for the distribution).
