Elartedealfa is a rhythmmm artist I’ve had the pleasure to collaborate with him and his team, to create this stunning visuals for his awwwesome new EP «¡Pero bueno, Alfonso!».

I’ve made the visuals with 3D motion, this is so versatile. With just a single 3D motion, we can create static images, videos for Spotify’s canvas, visuals for live performances or music videos, animated stickers for stories, and AR filters for social media.

The overall art direction of the EP «¡Pero bueno, Alfonso!» was established by Awmanda and mansilla, my challenge was to translate that art direction into the world of 3D and motion. I created a 3D motion for each song on the EP. In this case, I animated, modeled, textured, and lit a balloon flower from scratch. Afterwards, I generated variations of the initial flower to create the rest, changing the lighting and color scheme.

Once I had the loop and postproduction ready for Spotify’s canvas, I wanted to take it a step further by adding depth to the project. I created adaptations for other formats such as static images, stickers, and an augmented reality filter. This allows us to tell the story behind the EP, the song, and the motion in a dynamic, interactive, and fun way. Ending up with something soo fresssh.

The first attempt at an augmented reality filter for social media were discarded, while the second one takes center stage as the chosen option.

This project was the bloom of an idea, «Inflatable Illusion», this digital balloon flower is a visual paradox, an imitation of nature crafted with industrial materials, beautiful yet inherently fragile. In a landscape where the digital redefines aesthetics, this piece invites reflection on whether the artificial can achieve its own beauty, or if it is merely a reflection of the natural.

Inflatable Illusion was selected for the DEMO festival 2025, projected on screens over the whole Netherlands and in its metaverse! Check out this beauty at Amsterdam Central Station in live action <3
